The application requests permissions for Location in order to drive the automatic list of the closest locations to your current location when viewing the Cloud and Aurora conditions.
The application requests permissions for Notification if you select you would like alerts for specific selected locations. Without this permission, it won't be able to provide notifications or run in the background. When no alert locations are chosen this permission is not required.
